DETERMINATION OF OXIDATION INDUCTION TIME

This test determines the time that a material, with a set of additives such as antioxidants, stabilisers and other ones, takes to get oxidized in an oxygenated environmentat a specified temperature.

This time indicates the efficiency of the remaining antioxidant and the period that the material can be exposed to atmospheric conditions.
