DETERMINATION OF THE MELT MASS-FLOW RATE (MFR) OF THERMOPLASTICS

This test determines the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) of thermoplastic materials. The MFR is the rate of extrusion of a molten material through a die under pre-set conditions of temperature and load.

This is a key parameter in the installation since it conditions the quality of the thermally fused weldings.
