PEELRESISTANCE OF SOLDERED JOINTS

This test determines the resistance of joints between synthetic sheets by placing them under peel stress. To do this, the soldered joints are hold in the clamping jaws of a universal test machine and a traction force at constant speed is applied.
This test is carried out both on site and at the laboratory and it is essential when evaluating the work quality since the weld integrity conditions the waterproofing tightness. The acceptance criteria are fixed in the corresponding installation requirements.
